I specialise in finding rare, forgotten and hard-to-discover videos online — particularly footage that many people may never have seen before.

Over the past few years, I’ve shared hundreds of videos featuring circus and variety performers from around the world. Some of the most fascinating footage online can be surprisingly difficult to find, particularly when there is very little information available or when titles and descriptions are written in foreign languages.

Using tools such as Google Translate, old newspaper archives and other research sources, I enjoy digging deeper to discover more about performers, productions and the stories behind the footage. I also write articles to share the interesting discoveries and connections I make along the way.

I see myself as a curator and researcher rather than a creator. My channel is not monetised. 

Find Me A Video is a free service, and I don’t monetise the videos I share. However, finding rare footage and researching the performers and stories behind it can take a considerable amount of time. When I find footage on established channels, I prefer to link to or share the original video. However, videos can sometimes disappear when they are removed or made private, and I am interested in helping ensure that rare and historically interesting footage is not forgotten.

Not every article on this website has a video attached — yet. Some are about performers, productions or stories that I have researched, and I’m always hopeful that footage will eventually be discovered.
