Here's a wonderful, 25-minute, Russian film-concert from 1986 called, “All The Clowns.” Filmed in the arena and behind the scenes of the Riga Circus, the clown duo, Anatoly Latyshev and Ekaterina Mozhaeva, performing in clown masks of Anton and Antoschka.
The film presents the best numbers of their repertoire, demonstrating their great capabilities – acrobatics, juggling, rola-bola, eccentric dance, puppets, mime, training and tricks.
Anatoly (1949-2021) was a Soviet and Russian circus performer and clown. His parents were circus performers and talented illusionists, Evgeny Latyshev and Augusta Rotman. Since the 80s, he performed first in a duet with Ekaterina Mozhaeva (the number “Anton and Antoshka”), and then with his partner, Tatyana Latysheva in 1987.
From 1995, he was a solo clown and solo equilibrist using a rola-bola. Over the years of his creative activity, he travelled throughout the USSR, toured the countries of Europe, South America, and Asia. In 2002, he was awarded the title, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation.
