Well here's a treat! This video is from a 1970, TV programme from either Czechoslovakia or Russia (I'm unsure) called, Starfall. Accompanied by a fabulous, live orchestra,
we see the Bulgarians, Angel Bojilov Sr performing on the slackwire and assisted by Liliana, his daughter from his first marriage. He juggles rings and sticks (clubs) and spins plates on long sticks. I love the way he throws the plates onto the sticks and he does some awesome combination tricks and all while balancing on one foot on a slackwire.
When I shared this video with Angel Bojilov Jr, he and his elderly mother (his father's second wife) were absolutely thrilled to see it having never watched it before. I love it when my research delights people and brings them closer together.
