Here's a couple of wonderful, short clips from the 1948 film, Give My Regards To Broadway. We see the the main character, Albert Norwick and his son, Bert, singing, dancing and performing some playful hat manipulation, a balance trick plus some ball and hoop juggling.
I've never seen the whole film but I've seen a great photo which makes me want to see it! I've read that none of the actors were jugglers but they were trained for four months by Duke Johnson and Bill Talent. Apparently, the director considered it far easier to teach actors how to juggle than jugglers how to act!
