Now this is a lovely story! Meet Javier Masip Morón, a retired farmer from Alfajarín, a municipality located in the province of Zaragoza in Spain. There's obviously a mistake with the subtitles as it says that he's a tightrope walker when it's clearly a slackrope. I love how he states that he's the only person in the world to do a “double balance” and he invites anyone else who can do it better, to go to Alfajarín to prove it. All of his props are homemade from everyday objects. When this was filmed, Javier was 75 years old. What I really love about this story is that Javier is so passionate about his skills and so clearly in his element when he practices them. “Every Sunday I train in the garage, nobody bothers me here, I'm happy in my world, I imagine I'm in the circus,” he says. Javier is now 87 years old and he still practices every Sunday!
